About
MY BACKGROUND
I'm an aspiring mechanical engineer who's fascinated by robotics, space systems, and just about anything pushing at the bleeding edge of technology. I've been tinkering with mechanical and electrical systems for almost a decade and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

HOW I'VE BEEN SPENDING MY SPARE TIME
Student Organizations
GT Solar Racing | Mechanical Lead, Shop Manager | 2019 - Present
I lead the mechanical systems revamp of the team’s current workhorse solar-electric vehicle, where we replaced the carbon fiber aerobody and upgraded the frame, among other things. Also, as the team's Shop Manager, I co-authored team-wide plans for operating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Georgia Tech Solar Racing
FRC Team 449 | Fabrication Lead, Project Lead | 2015-2019
I rapidly developed and manufactured mechanisms to produce effective designs while maximizing time for robot testing. Additionally, I led workshops for 30+ new members annually to improve team readiness for build & competition season.
FIRST Robotics Competition
Blair3Sat | Mechanical Design Lead | 2018 - 2019
Blair3Sat is a student-run CubeSat team at my high school that is building a small satellite to study Earth's ionosphere. During the team's first couple of years, I developed models of potential CubeSat designs to define the spacecraft's capabilities and mission scope.

Research
Dynamic Adaptive Robotic Technologies Laboratory | 2020 - 2020
I designed a single-axis rail system that will be used to develop dynamic positioning methods for slung loads. Using SolidWorks, I produced several iterations, eventually striking a balance between cost, manufacturability, and performance.

Personal Projects
FPV Quadcopters | 2020 - Present
I got into the hobby of FPV drone flying at the beginning of Summer 2020 as a fun way to spend my spare time and as a gateway into aerial autonomy. I learned a lot about how all the different components come together, forming a foundation of knowledge I can leverage when I start building an autonomous system.
